It was great to be able to run our Youth Matrix Workshop for the Malcam Trust in Dunedin in May. We had 19 people attend for the 5 days which was broken into 4 hours a day. This work shop was part of the programme that is run by the Malcam Trust which is a 12 week programme for youth. Our work shop offers the participants the opportunity to combine what they are learning with a new and different way of viewing themselves and others. The participants came from varying backgrounds and interacted with great enthusiasm.
We spent two hours with the tutors after the work shop experiencing the varying communication styles that people have. This was valuable to them as they can include what they have learnt to enhance their communication with their students.
I would like to thank Fiona Gill for asking us to be part of the Malcam Trust’s journey in empowering youth.
