It was apparent from my first meeting with this school and its principle Mr Price that they had a good handle on what school should be about. Respect and team work. We all meet at the Kiwi Family Trusts office at 9am to embark on a week of fun and adventure. It was a cold morning and wouldn’t you know it we picked up the rental van and the heater wasn’t working. We had a delay of and hour and a half until we got another van. With that little sager over we loaded the van up and off we set. Rangiora fire brigade was the first stop.

When we got to camp it was all on. The boys where off to play in the snow. They got soaked through but didn’t seem to be too worried about the cold. It was 0 degrees. Once they had got ride of some energy they helped unpack the van and put their wet cloths in the drying room.
